My fiscal year does not start on the first of the month

I am looking at the year to date function and it lets us start a fiscal year in any month that we want, but my company's fiscal calendar has 364 days a year and every 5 or so years, we have 371 days (because of both leap yeas and the fact that our calendar is 364 days).

I know that I will need a table of starting dates for the fiscal year.  Are there any functions that would let us set the first day as well like we are able to set the first month?

The easiest solution is to create your fiscal calendar in excel for the next 30 years or so and then simply load that excel file into Qlikview. You'll probably waste a lot more time trying to do this in Qlikview.

Thank you Gysbert, that is what I ended up doing,

I was able to take advantage of Excel's functionality as to do a good portion of the repetitive work and range fill in. I then exported the values to a CSV and with the help of a load script I have a dynamic master calendar.
