Need help to make the date into single format in Qlikview

Dear All

Please find the attached excel which has got the two type os date format

i need to make it one format and load in qlikview

16/01/2013

18/01/2013

22/01/2013

28/01/2013

30/01/2013

31/01/2013

01/01/13

02/01/13

You can use the alt function to handle different date formats in one go. See attached qvw

Load

     mid(Date,1,6) & if(len(mid(Date,7)>2), mid(Date,7), 2000+Mid(Date,7)) as myDate,

....

You have a string containing the date  as you need

I've used this with your data and it works ...

if the field name is Date:

Load

     mid(Date,1,6) & if(len(mid(Date,7)>2), mid(Date,7), 2000+Mid(Date,7)) as myDate,

....

You have a string containing the date  as you need
