Need to Count Faculty Attendance

Hello All,

I need to count Faculty Attendance and there is no field which captures their status of Presence or Absence.

I am having a unique attendanceID for their particular session.

Now, Its very clear that If a Faculty is having attendanceID on a day, its mean he/she was present on that day.

In the same regard I am adding one more points:

1) On the same day if a Faculty taking two or more sessions then he/she will be having two or more attendanceID, so you can not count them two or more presence on the same day.

Is their any solution of this so that I can show their presence or absence with attendanceID?

Try with

Count(Distinct attendanceID ) this will gives the presence or absence of the employee

Hey Anand,

Good to hear from you....

But it will not work out. Let me explain to you.

Suppose a faculty taking 5 session in a day then their will be 5 attendnaceID and all attendanceID's are unique.

If I count distinct attendanceID's then that faculty is presence 5 times in a day. Ideally his/her presence is only once in a day.
