New to Qlikview

Hi all,

Am very new to qlikview, could anyone please suggest a book or start up guide to start off my qlikview entry. Thanks in advance.

- I think the book from Barry Harmsen is a great resource (Qlikview 11 for developers).

- There is free training on this website

- There are sampe .qvw's when you install Qlikview that you can check (how did they build this and that?)

- There are a lot of youtube tutorials

- There are quite some blogs sharing valuable knowledge (see an overview here: http://www.quickintelligence.co.uk/qlikview-blogs/)

- and last but not least, there is this community: when you have a specific question, do 2 things: 1) search for this problem in the community. A good chance is that this helps you out. If not: ask your question here, and preferably add a .qvw file demonstrating what's your problem. Often you'll be helped within 1 day

Hi,

when you install qlikview you will get sample qlikview files in C:\Program Files\QlikView\Examples and you will get a book at C:\Program Files\QlikView\English.chm go trough these as well

Download answered post and Qvw's from Qlikview Community. try to understand approach of developers to solve an issue. This will be great learning than Books or tutorial.
