Not able to create excel report in accesspoint

Hi All,

I have just installed windows 7.

I am able to open my document in accesspoint but not able to create excel report.

One of discussion i found that i need to install QV plugin.

Can anyone suggest the link for downloading plugin for IE.

Usually I show a link to the Plugin download in the Access Point itself.

You can do it QMC, in QV Web Server, tab Access Point - there is a checkbox for that.

Hi all,

I have downloaded plugin and installed it now i am able to open rpt in accesspoint but while converting excel it is taking lot of time.And not able to make excel report

Can you please suggest.

Hi All,

Is it necessary to download plug ins on server or only on local machine.

Below are changes has been implemented

on server side-

-Ram size increases to 32 GB fron 16 GB

On my local machine

-windows 7 has been installed.

Right now  after opening dashboard in access point and making excel report it is taking lot of time.And not able to make excel report

Please suggest.

Hi,

How large is the data you are trying to export? This is not designed to large data exports and network speed is a factor in this also.

Hi,

Network latency (speed of transfer because of retries) between the client and the server can always be a factor.

Have you look at the QVS temp directory to see if the file is being created and how long it is taking the QVS to build the file?

Is this a cluster environment? If so is the Temp fold a Network share?
