Opposite of Fractile() Function

Hi All,

In Qlikview there is a function called Fractile() which returns the value which is on a particular fractile position.

do Qlikview have just opposite function of Fractile() which we give calculated value from so fields and its return its Fractile postion like "0.9" or "0.5" etc

Maybe I am missing something, but I don't think there is an explicite function to do that.

But you can calculate a close match (the bigger your sample size, the closer) by using something like

=count({<Field = {"<34"} >} Field) / count(Field)

where '34' is just a arbitrary value / result of fractile function.
