Oracle provider missing

Hi All,

I want to connect to a oracle database server. When I open edit script and click on connect I can not see 'Microsoft OLEDB provider for oracle' in the providers list.Do I need to configure or install something to get this provider?

Hi Murali,

1st Check whether your Operating System is 32bit or 64bit and also check whether you

installed Oracle is 32bit or 64bit

If your Operating System is 64bit and you installed 32bit Oracle then

make select check box for Force 32 bit, You will find this checkbox ODBC.

Thanks and Regards,

I find it better to install the full Oracle Client rather than just the ODBC part.
