Output of a user with historical data

I'm trying to solve a common problem, maybe you can help me.

I have a table like this:

USER STARTDATE ENDDATE VALUE
AAA 15.09.2008 31.01.2009 40
AAA 01.02.2009 31.10.2009 50
AAA 01.11.2009 ... 60

It means that an USER worked from STARDATE until ENDDATE at VALUE as workload. In a pivot chart I want to show each month what a value the user had. With my calendar field Calendar.Month should my table look like this:

MONTH nov-2009 oct-2009 sep-2009 aug-2009 ... feb-2009 jan-2009
USER Value Value Value Value ... Value Value
AAA 60 50 50 50 ... 50 40

It doesn't show anything because the same user has may values, how can I filter this values?

Your Attached Application does not fullfill the requirement. They Want day in between start and End Date.

Your Application work on either date.

Actually I have another table with the Calendar, in which each month is shown.

Here example how it basically is built. The values should appear for each month. If they are in a range between STARTDATE and ENDDATE the values should be repeated for its respective dates.

I am missing something, it can not be that difficult.
