Hi, I'm after a way of recording Hardware Performance Statistics, (CPU utilization, Memory consumption that sort of stuff), over the Financial Month End period for our Qlikview Server which is version 11 running on a Windows 2012 server.
I've tracked down the Windows Performance Monitor and was wondering if Qlikview has metrics that I can collect using perfmon to diagnose performance issues.
For instance SharePoint has user defined templates that you can use with Perfmon to gather statistics and then generate reports via another tool that has been created by some Guru in the user community.
I'm new to Qlikview/Windows having come from an Oracle/Unix background where there's a whole industry based around this sort of thing.
Many Thanks in advance.
No visitors = no visitor data = no graphs about visitors. Seems logical to me.
Pay a visit to your own QV installation, open a few documents, reload your monitor and see what happens.

There is a QlikView app that can help you with that.
I downloaded the System monitor but don't seem to be getting anything after reloading it.
My logs are in the default places, is there something I'm missing?
There was no mention of running a data collector template in performance monitor, so I wonder where it would get the performance data from.
The System Monitor is QlikView-specific (no Windows platform monitoring) and uses QlikView logs as base data (see C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer). There is a QlikView-specific Performance log as well.
First configure the monitor on the second sheet (especially your total amount of RAM), save the monitor and reload it. If your platform has AP visitors, they and their documents should show up in the various sheets.
Best,
Peter
Oh ok, thanks for that, I can see when I reload it is definitely loading data however a number of objects are still showing No Data To Display.
Could that be because no one is using the System?
