Personal Edition - Using Tutorial file

Hi All

I have just installed QlickView Personal Edition and

about to start learning how to use it.

First step is using tutorial.qvw files. When trying to open I get a message saying

this file was created by another user and if I open it I will not be able to open other

files with my user. I understand that the Personal Edition enable to use only my files

but isn't there an exception for Tutorial files ?

and if not - will I be able to save the tutorial and edit it in the future ?

Hi Ori,

Welcome to QlikView World. I dont think you can edit the tutorials. However, I am assuming that you are aware that you can access the demos from QlikView Site. I think you can open documents created by other users upto 3 times (I might be wrong, but I used to get this message while I was using personal edition).

Thanks DV, Actualy there are 4 times where I can open a different source file.

I will use my first try on the Tutorials.
