Pivot Table Colouring

Hi, I am fairly new to Qlikview.

I have made a pivot table that has three columns of interest and a fourth which displays the total numerical count.

I am trying to figure out how I can colour the background of each of the four columns separately. So it would be the full column not just the column name.

any idea?

Drill down (click +) for the dimensions or measures you want to define colors and select 'Background Color'> Edit> give your color expression.

You can also change Text color in same way if your background color is mixing with text color.

Thanks.

Hi TP,

You can give color from expression tab:

Click on + sign on the expression, then you will get background color option. Over there you can set the color you want.

Attached below a screenshot for your reference.

Thanks it worked.

Q1) I am also trying to get the column name to have the same background colour as the rest of the column. I know you can use ctrl+G to get into grid view and select specific columns.

However, when I colour on the dimensions it assigns the same colour to the rest which is not what I want to do.

Q2) Using a bar chart, I have a variable called 'FLAG'  and I am summing up the different types of values within  flag ('MIXED', 'NONMIXED' , 'UNKNOWN')

How can I assign each of these values a different colour of my picking? This is not based on values but just on the name of the each the flag values.

Thanks for your help.
