Hi all,
Can anyone tell me how to get a pivot table to have row totals as in the attached screenshot from the Qlikview demo example.
I can see they have managed to do it, but can't work out how it's been done.
A step by step bullet point list would be much appreciated from anyone in the know.
Thanks
Properties of you pivot table -> presentation -> check showing sums (I dont know what it is exactly called because im using QV in German)
regards,
MT
I believe you just have to drag the dimension across with partial sum enabled.

Thanks for your quick response.
Could you go into more detail about exactly what to do?
Sorry, still not quite sure how it works.
Thanks
Hi,
Go to chart properties--> Presentation tab and select your dimension and select show partial sum option.

Hi Magdalena,
Thanks for your reply.
I have done this and this seems to successfully give the total for the column (which is what I want), but I would also like the total for the row on the right. I.e. total for column and row?
Thanks
for thsi you have to drag the dimension country on top then you will have the sums for each row. you drag by clicking on the dimension and hold it and then move the mouse to the top unti you see a horizontal green line.
hope it helps,

MT
That will be shown if you have two dimensions.

Hi all,
Thanks managed to work it out by following instructions above. The problem was I had my dimension label as '.' so that it wouldn't have a label, and then when trying to go to presentation page I couldn't see it.
Thanks to you all
Hi,
To achive this you have to use country as dimension and then just drag it into horizontal.
Of course don't forget check Show partial sums.
