Pop up text for a straight table column

I hope there is a simple answer for this. I would like to display Pop up messages for a striaght table when a user hovers over a specific column. This Pop up message would contain information about the data in the column and how it is used.

The Comment property is available for both Dimension and Expression columns. You can code a comment even for calculated dimensions. Is that what you are asking for?

No, there is no formatting options available for the comment popup.

these are all workarounds and not really satisfactory to what will hopefully one day be available...which is why I suspect nothing is marked as correct...having to put it info:..... and shrink the size of the field so it will pop up is hardly the same as showing some number or a text or a picture and being able to hover or pop up a comment or pic or number....for example...excel and srss rb both have popups that are ez to setup and flexible/creatively use.

Hi Rob, Great option.

unfortunately in my requirement, I need to enable the 'Wrap Cell Text'  option, it shows dots in the cell.

Is there a way such that even after enabling the wrap cell can we avoid dots.
