Hi,
Is it possible to refresh qvd's daily , with out connecting to DB every time and reloading ?
Can any one please let me know is that possible ?
Thanks & Regards,
Sh
I am not sure what you try to achieve.
Refreshing data can only be achieved by connecting to some kind of source and reload the data.
Please can you be more specific on what you want to achieve?

You want to refresh QVD, but don't want to connect to DB. Then where is the data going to come from? Assuming you meant to not reload entire data everyday. If so, then you have to implement incremental load. Read about it from reference manual (very nicely explained, sould not be an issue to understand).
Hi ,
Thanks for the reply ,
My question is , Now i am reloading qvd generator daily ..instead of reloading every time is there any way to refresh qvd's with respect to changes in ETL automatically ..
Thanks & Regards,
Sh
It is possible to start QV from the command line and do a reload.
You can run the command line task with the task scheduler.
Bo doing so you don't need to refresh the QV model manually.
See the reference manual for more info,
