Predetermined Values for Variable in pulldown menu?

Hi,

I'm trying to create a pulldown menu to set the value of a variable. I'd like to specify some predetermined values the variable can take and let the user choose between those values. Would this be possible?

Yes Stephen, it is possible and simple.

In document properties, variables, select your variable on the left, choose "predefined values only" in the middle.  In the Value section, choose "predefined values in drop-down".  on the bottom right - either number series (self-explanatory), or string values - they are separated by semicolon.
