Problem with Access Point

Hi All,

i have a problem with Access Point.

There is a  user with Named CAL's  that don't see dashboard.

I have QVadmin user and i see all but i think that Named CAL's can see all dashboards too.

What is the problem?

What security have you got set on your folders/documents? Have they been added to the relevant group or folder to be able to see them?

Hi,

Did you allocate necessary rights and permissions?

Do you have publisher?

Did you distribute application to this user?

In case no publisher did you add this user to security tab of Qlikview Application?

Hi,

Check once whether the selected user from particular domain is correct or not. Check this option if you have multiple domain usernames in the QMC.

Please check security settings at folder level where application is residing. Are you using section access ? then user should be present in your list.

Check if user been assigned Named CAL with proper domain name ?

HI Francesa,

visibility of dashboards is controlled by security:

1. the user does not have NT permissions to view the folder / actual dashboard file.

2. the qvw has section access and has the following set on the DOCUMENT PROPERTIES > SERVER tab

As far as I know named CALS can not see all dashboards. Even QVadmins can not see all dashboards in access point, but they have the access to give themselves the ability to see them.

It is all based on the security of the document.
