QV desktop unable to lease license on the QV server

Referring the following link QV desktop unable to lease license on the QV server

we're facing strange problem.

we can lease license from the QV server(remote machine) on the local systems but can't do so from the QV desktop installed on the same machine as the QV server.

It always shows 'You are running Qlikview Personal Edition'

Any idea how to solve this ?

use either the ip address/server name to connect to server.

qvp://user@<IP Address or Server Name or localhost>

you can lease license i think you might have done some mistake while leasing jus check again and please let us know

You could lease license at two(max) systems using same account (Named CAL). If those two are exhausted, you might get the message you are getting. However, after 24 hours of last usage in a system you can get re-assigned it to a different system.

There are 5 cal user users and i have already leased two licenses on QV desktops on different remote system but the problem is that i am unable to lease it on server's qlikview desktop.

I have only leased 3 licences and other licenses are unused but still i am not able to lease it on QV destop on server

Have you used 3 different accounts (user IDs) to lease these 3 licenses or same? Try to lease using a different user.

Problem is solved now. I just downloaded the QV desktop 11.2 SR2  (Window 8 and Up) and I leased the licence with the same user and its working now.
