QVS not started

Hi

We have a client where the Qlikview Service is not strting up. According to Local Services it has started up. We are using a AD account with rights, all the other services are started, QMC is showing that only QVS is not started. The Client has Kaspersky installed which is also handing the firewall. We have added exclusions on the Qlikview folders in ProgramData, Program Files, also on the QVS exe specifically, open up the follwoing ports

The service account should also be a member of Administrators and Qlikview Administrators Group.

No error in Local services

That is setup correctly. One other thing, its a windows LDAP on a Linux environment. I am considering using a local account which I will create, maybe there is something wrong on the User account itself, though it is starting up the other services successfully

These are the two errors I am getting

This is from the Logs

System.Exception: Failed to retrieve document list from the specified QVS ||    at QMSBackendCore.Service.ServiceImpl.<>c__DisplayClass244.<GetUserDocumentList>b__243() ||    at SolutionGlobal.Collections.ThreadSafeCache`2.CacheItem`1.GetObject() ||    at SolutionGlobal.Collections.ThreadSafeCache`2.Get(TKey key, Func`1 createObjectFunc) ||    at QMSBackendCore.Service.ServiceImpl.GetUserDocumentList(Guid qvsID) ||    at QMSBackendCore.Service.ServiceImpl.Diagnostics.CacheDocumentAvailable()

This happens when I try to go to properties on any of the other settings on QMC

Failed to Contact Server resource QVS@qlikview

What happened further is I tried an uninstall and reinstall(with restarts in between). I started up Qlikview with the local service account then entered the license, it was accepted. Then I set the services account to an AD Account, everything breaks

QlikView-->Linux, hmm, is that really a good idea?

Why don't you install QV using the AD account? If that doesn't work, you need to investigate that first.
