Hi,
I have recently added a new version of a document, basically copied the document that was on our test server and replace the one that is on the live server and also copied the new schedules that creates the qvd's all the qvd creations work accept the qvw file that updates the document and not sure why? Is there any where I can check to see why this is erroring? I do not have the qlikview application on the live but I have opened the document on our test server and ran it manually and works fine? Any ideas why this would be?
Thanks
What version do you have installed?, if you are running version 9 or lower, my best guess is that you probably have a 32bit database connection (ODBC or OLEDB) and that you also have a 64-bit version of the QV server and 32-bit version of the QV desktop, so what can be happening is that the connector runs fine in the QV desktop application since they are both 32-bit versions, whereas, the qlikview server cannot reload due to the 32bit version connector.
Possible solutions:
-Install QV 10
-Run a batch windows task that reloads the document or use a execute statement with a QV document.
Remember this is a wild guess, but it is the most common possible reason. In order to get more information out of the aotumatic reload task, enable logging within the QV app, go to Document Properties->General and check the Generate Log file box. A log filw will be generated during reload process, this will give you an accurate description of the error.

Hi,
I am using version 9 but on test I have SR 5 but on the live I have SR 4 (will upgrade to SR5 eventually), I have done this procedure before and copied the files over nad the schedules worked fine but this time it is not working, the only files I have not replaced are the .Meta & .Shared file becuase the last time I replace one of these files it deleted the users Bookmarks; so I have not replaced them this time?
Thanks
