We have this situation:
A Qlikview server is hosting the app.
The app is only viewable by members of the Active Directory (AD) group named "G"
I believe we're using LDAP Directory Service provider, so I think Qlikview server is aware of the AD groups in there

I ask "Jane" to reach the app; she cannot; not allowed.This is expected; she's not in the group.
I add her to the "G" Active Directory group.
Now I ask her to reach the app again; she cannot; not allowed! This is unexpected for me.
We wait overnight
Now I ask her to reach the app again; she can; she's allowed!
This leads me to believe that LDAP Directory Service information is sync'd on some schedule,
And whatever that schedule is, it sync'd overnight, so only after the night, does it recognize "Jane" is in "G" and therefore has access to the app.
IN Qlik Sense I think this is called "User syncing" , it's documented clearly and I can adjust or manually kick off a user sync:

But I'm not the admin of our Qlikview server, so I'm not sure if there's an equivalent "syncing" step?
