Hello,
I am at a loss when some Dashboards do not show any preview images within AccessPoint.
In each dashboard, I always set to Document Thumbnail to Opening Sheet.
Why would some dashboard load the image file, and some do not?
Is it related to .qvw.share file? What does that file really contain of? Does it need to be removed whenever the dashboard is refreshed?
I'm just guessing here, so your help will be appreciated.
Cheers!
Try to changing the document thumbnail from "Opening Sheet" to "Image" and back again works, you can do this in document properties - opening. Sometimes you need to stop and start the services on the server.
What qvs version that you use?
Try the following:
- Create a object (any)
- Save the QVW
- Re-open and remove the object you created
- Save the QVW
- Re-distribute the application
- Check the access point thumbnail image.

Hi Lawrence,
I have found that if I save the document while in Web View mode, Access Point tells me No Preview Available.
Try switching to normal view before saving the document. If your opening sheet needs to be in Web View (for example it contains an extension object) then I think you have to save an image of the sheet. Windows built-in Snipping Tool does the job nicely.
Regarding the QVW.SHARE file, I believe that controls sharing server objects and server bookmarks, so best not to delete it.

Rick
ps If this works for you, please mark as a correct answer. Thanks, R
Go to setting tab>click on opening>bydefault it shows "opening sheet button" checked >mark it unchecked and checked "no images button">then reload>again checked "the opening sheet button" and unchecked "No image button">reload the qvw.>you got the image.
Hi John,
I tried all the options listed in this topics. What in the end resolved was a restart of the Qlik-related services. I am not sure which service exactly deals with this, but a restart of all the services (in combination with options listed in this topic) should bring resolution.

Stefan
