Hello All,
I have few applications in my Access Point, of late my server performance is very bad and facing quite a lot issues.
To start with my sever has a 64 GB RAM.
When i try to open a particular application either through RTP or Access Point the CPU usage and also the Memory shoots up and doesn't work further.
The application i'm trying to open is 86,766 KB in size.
Can you provide any pointers to this problem.
TIA!!
Hi,
thr might be many reasons fr this and at the end it will comes down to ur memory utilization on server.
Plss check how many concurrent users I mean Cals accessing files.
I ur publisher and sever reside on the same m/c?
And hw many reports on server consuming tht 64 gb ram which looks very minimum fr enterprise level server.
If thr r very few reports then report level any long expression or huge files?
Cross verify wthr 64 is sufficient fr above factors.
Sachin
Hello Sachin,
Thanks for the suggestion.
Currently there are only 2 users for this app on the access point.
Yes, the both reside on the same.
This is the only report which is running when the RAM goes up.
Yes, this particular app has quiet a few expressions and QVD pre-loads.
Sai.
HI,
Users not fr only tht app..On entire server who all consuming memory by accessing.
And also when both r on same m/c u might be running the task over thr only ryt?
when application gon into hung mode just check wt all othr QV application running back end and also take once the memory consumed by each application.then u ll get clear picture hw 64 is being utilized.
If this alone is taking major chunk of memory then u need to look into ur dashboard tuning.
Just take screen shot of Ram utilization whn it reaches peek by which we can identify which consuming more..
Sachin
Sachin,
Do you have any idea how could we restore the previous version App.
This particular app was working fine till yesterday. Today morning after the scheduled reload it went off and we are not able to open it anymore.
i think most of the times the solution to resolve immediately the issue is reboot the server.
Hi, Sai Kumar.
How many cores have the CPU?
Regards,
Jonas Melo.
