Qlikview 11.20 SR19 CRITICAL TROUBLE

Hi! Beginning with QV 11.20 SR 16 and upper application confuses fields and data during calculations.

1. Open the application

2. Reload document

3. = Bug (See 1 screnshot in attachment) <- Field 1 = Field 2 & '|' & Field 3

4. Do not close document and reload again (See 2 screnshot in attachment) = all good!

Alexandr, please be patient, this is not something that is going to happen in a day or two, this may be a few weeks in order to get things looked at and a determination as to what will be done etc. just to set proper expectations.  I will update as soon as I have further information, or the person to whom I reached out will comment directly once he can get to things, I learned he is on the road at the moment.

I am not able to replicate this with 11.20 SR16 on Windows 2012 R2. 

@barakovskikh would you be able to run systeminfo in Powershell and share the details with me, so that I can see if our servers have any significant difference? It woudl also be good if you can share a sample QVW with the issue present.

In the attachment of the application, if you open it immediately evident that the data is not correct.

Reproduced a problem on different systems, but the syslog enclosed under a spoiler below.

Algorithm:

1. Open

2 do Nothing, just push the reload.

3. Get bug.

4. The second update will be correct

P.S  Sometimes the problem is not reproduced with first time. You need to close the file, open it again, and update it again.

Thanks for the sample file. I am not able to replicate the issue with the file. 

Your video shows opening a file with data and then reloading. Are you able to provide a copy of this file that has the issue before you reload and correct the problem?

Have you tried downloading multiple times like the video? Sometimes you need to do it 4-5 times!

1. shaking my sample above

2. Open

3. Reload

4. if mistakes there is no, then close app

5. repeat steps 2,3,4

Just a short addition: It might be difference in regard to the reproduce if only the file is closed/opened/reloaded or if QV as application is also closed between the trials.

You need to repeat this with closing the QV application!

In this case, I'm sure that I have the error will be repeated, not always the first time, sometimes you need to repeat the process several times.

Algorithm

1 Open my sample from the post above

2 Reload

3 If there is no error with the data then CLOSE APP QV!!!

4 Repeat steps 1-3

P.S Sometimes the error the first time, sometimes with 3-5

Are you sure you're doing what I described?
