Hi All.
How do I link Google analytics with Qlikview?
Our company has Apps on the Play store and all the info of that App is being logged in Google analytics. I want to be able to pull all the data from there into Qlikview.
Thank you
JL
Hi
We do this and it works well by using an additional product called QVSource.
I'm afraid it is not free.
Hi Richard.
Could you please give me some more info in QVSource and maybe some examples( visual views) of the benefits it will add to the company. We also have a FB page, Youtube videos and a twitter account.
Does this also work with QVSource?
You can request a free trial of QVSource on the website:
Which is the best way to get an overview of its capabilities, I would also recommend quickly flicking through this presentation:
And there are various screen shots on our website and wiki, including some linked from here:
QlikView Demos
We do have connectors for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and about 40 other sources.
There are also a number of free starter apps on our GitHub page:
QVSource - The QlikView & Qlik Sense API Connector · GitHub
Including one for Google Analytics (although it is mainly just a sample load script to build a data model to get started with).
Hi
QVSource works with a wide-range of different connectors. These include Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Google AdWords, FaceBook Fan Pages & Groups, Twitter and YouTube. They have recently added SurveyMonkey too. And there is a general connector for standard APIs.
For each connector you complete the necessary parameters and QVSource builds the correct scripting.
The website is www.qvsource.com - click on Connectors to see a complete list - there may be others which are helpful to you.
With Google, we used to run queries manually, but this has now been automated with a QlikView model. For example, we look at how many web pages have been visited for each of our products, and also how many price quotations have been requested online. In QlikView we can link this to our orders and sales data and generate useful management information.
Hope that helps.
Richard
