Our new MD has requested that I investigate using Qlikview to provide a quick quoting platform for our internal and external reps. Basically it would need to have a data source of part numbers, descriptions, pricing and stock availability, updated daily from our ERP platform and allow the user to pick a basket of lines, specify quantities and perhaps customer details and end up with a formatted quotation that could be sent to the customer, hopefully from a web interface for our external reps.
Do you feel that Qlikview will be able to provide this functionality?
