Hi,

Yes we can export the charts and other object individually to excel as well as text.

Just right click on the chart you want to export. Find the option to export.

Hi Kaushik,

Thanks a lot for reply. I have already figured it out though 🙂

For me it is taking like few mintues to export data from qvw/report pbulished online to text or excel file if the number of records are more than a million. Is that normal or it show export faster?

Thanks,

TA

Hi,

Its a normal. Whenever you export more than few thousands record, it will be slow.

hiii,

For millions of record if the qvw is taking few minuts to export then its fine...

i also recomend to check the data once it is exported into text file.

Hi,

There is another realted issue which I am facing right now.

If I export the data to Excel, sometimes Excel does not show exactly the same number of records (usually less than in qvw ). Does someone know what can be the reason?

Thanks,

TA

2.- Clik over Apply Bottom

3.- Go again and access the Qlikview Web and dowload the informacion to Excel

Hi Magda,

Thanks for your erply. But I am not sure if I have understood correctly.

From your answer I am getting an impression that yes it is possilbe that total number of recrods are not exproted to the  Excel in some cases...is that correct?

hiii tahirghalib,

if you are exporing the data into excel file of ms office 2003 then it will only show 65000 records.

instaed of that you can right click on the chart => then you have "Export" option. and their select ".csv" as file type and save the data.

when you export data into .csv file there will not be any mismatch.

i used to fetch 7-8 lakhs of records in csv format.

Hope this will help you.
