Qlikview not opening

Hi,

several times its happen that i am not able to open Qlikview .

then i do following

C:\Document an dsettings\Usename\Application Data\Qliktech

delete this folder  after that its opening and then apply license.

i did it several times. and not able to understand why this happening.

is there any ways we can resolve this issue.

What kind of Licence key do you have ? and how you have updated it?

Because once you add the original licence key it ,all QVW's will be open.

hi I talking about qlikview Desktop . hence i have one serial no and control No. offcource application ar opening.

but  here we are concern about Qv.exe.

Hi

I have experienced this a few times with some SR(s) of QV10. I dont remember which one. Something appears to get corrupted which can only be resolved (it seems) by deleting part or all of the application data. Which version/SR are you using? I suggest that you upgrade to the latest release of whatever version of QV you are using; or upgrade to 11.2 if possible.

its QlikView 10 SR4. we are in process of migrating to 11.but is there any other fix for this.

If you dont want to move to 11 just yet, I suggest that you install SR5 or SR6 of Qv10. Re-installing SR4 will not solve the problem if it is the same problem I experienced.

Thanks for your help. i will try 10 SR5.but my colleague are using same version  i.e qlikview 10 Sr4. and they are runnig without this issue.

we are using  different instances of server using remote.Please suggest.
