Good afternoon,
I wonder what it takes to change one of my users license.
I have one of my users occupying a CAL (user), but it is not being used.
I need to delete and create a new user for this CAL.
How do I do that?
Vale inform my QlikView is still 9.
Thank you in advance.

Dear Pablo,
If the user stop using the CAL more than 24hrs, you just need to delete the CAL and it will return to the user CAL pool. After than you can assign it to the new user. Just open QEMC>system>licenses>Qlikview server>Client Access licenses tab> Assigned CALs> hit the red "X" mark> hit apply. Again if he stopped using the CAL more than 24hrs it will return to the pool, if he used it less than 24hrs you must wait a 24hrs quarantine before the CAL gets release.

Hello Pablo,
I think it would be helpful if you can give some more information for the community. What kind of server do you use (Enterprise/Small Business)? Generally all the work can be done with the QlikView (Enterprise) Management Console, but it is easier to give you the appropriate answer if it is known what you exactly use.
Best regards
Matthias
