REGARDING SOME DOUBT IN CALCULATION

HI,

I hav added a excel file and open it u can see there are 6 fields such as DATE, OUTLET,COMPANY,BRAND,PACK,SALES. Now i want to calculate the Weightage Volume for that formula is

Total sales for those outlet (for a selected brand)/Total sales for that Day

Full Explain:

Suppose take the case of 03/10/2009 , Brand -F . Then first aim to see what are the Outlets where Brand-F is present (i.e: O1,O3,O4,O6,O7) . Then we have to calulate the total sales errespective any brand (DONOT CONSIDER FOR BRAND -F , IT IS THE SUM ALL THE BRAND SUM PRESENT IN THOSE 5 OUTLETS) in that OUTLETS (i.e TOTAL SALES IN ALL 5 OUTLETS) . i.e SUM(SALES) FOR O1,O3,O4.O6,O7=1500+2825+1625+1800+3600=11350 divide by SUM OF TOTAL SALES FOR 03/10/2009(16125)

11350/16125=.70

MY REQUIRED OUTPUT SHOULD BE 70%

AND FORMAT IS LIKE

BRAND WEIGHVOLUME

Hi Rainer,

Thanks for the suggestion. But this one static type like it will give only for Brand F. But i want some dynamic type answer. Because u can see there 5 to 6 brands are then i have to create 5 charts. This is not the correct way to do. I want for every brand output should come in one pivot chart i.e

Brand, Availability

K

G

Gf

etc

And also i am using Qlikview 9

This is required format. can you help me to get this format????

Hi,

for me it seems that you have to calculate the values in your script.

If the Brands are fixed you can also try to build a kind of table view using text boxes.
