Re-create historical trend from current data

Hi. Based on a list of invoices with open and closed dates I'm trying to create a 'snapshot' view as shown in the graph.bmp file below. It should display the age profile of the invoices as they would have been at the end of each month - e.g. at the end of May, show only those invoices that were open in May and how 'old' they were at the time.

All I have to work on is the current list of open and closed invoices to try and recreate the historical views (Invoice list.xlsx).

Can anyone help!?

If you constract .qvw and a table containing information "how 'old' they were at the time" (a number of months).

I think I can help you with a chart representation.

Thank you for your response, but my problem is I don't know how to create that information. How do I show that something was (for example) 3 months old in May, then 4 months old in June, then 5 months in July, but closed in August without making the table massive?
