I'm new to this Qlikview forum. I'm trying to build a report using report using reports option in Qlikview. Can someone help me to understand whether the report can be changed or rather update's based on the selections made by the user in the visualization area and then send the report to the end user.

The Report Editor allows a QlikView Developer to design a report template by placing elements (including text, images and placeholders for sheet objects that are present in the containing document) on one or more pages. The Report template is stored with the document (Document Report) or stored on the Developers computer (User Report).
A Document template can be turned into a final report by making selections in the current document and selecting the Report name from the report menu, either in QV Desktop or in the toolbar in the AccessPoint. At that very moment, all object frames are filled with the content the objects have in the displayed document (and filtered by the selections the user made). Depending on the Report design, various loops may produce additional sections in the report, or may spread large objects over multiple pages. In the end, a dialog box is displayed, offering the user to previiew or print the current report to a device of his/her choice.
