Returned Value of a Formula Not Matching

Hello,

I’m hoping someone has seen this problem before and can suggest a solution.  I have a formula within a chart (Straight Table) that returns a value called Mix Builder which is highlighted in yellow on the attached snapshot.  If I use the same formula in a text box outside of the chart to display the Mix Builder, which is highlighted in green, the numbers do not match.

I believe the reason for this is due to the fact that we are multiplying each line item by a % of Total Sales within the chart, but outside
of the chart, that number becomes 100%.  Can anyone suggest a way to make these two numbers match?  I really need to use this number outside of the chart and it is imperative that they match.

Any information would be appreciated!

Thanks for the reply Alessandro but I'm still not getting the correct answer.  The % of Total Sales is still 100%.

Hi,

where do you come up with 35.842 ?

is it a weighted average %?

It is the Profit (which I didn't show on screenshot) / Sales.

Then I think your error is in the % of sales column.

Eruditio,

I only posted the columns that were in the formula that I am trying to match up.  The numbers in the % of Sales column are correct.

Thanks!

Ajay,

Unfortunately there isn't a way for me to attach a sample file.

Thank you!
