Sajeevan,

Would it be able to show a shorter time frame than whole years. If you select in the chart from Oct 2011 to Jun 2012 it shows bars from Jan 2011 through to Jun 2012. In other words it seems to show from the start of min(year).

Many thanks,

Jonathan

Ignore this as I fund a solution, namely to add a Dimension limit of the largest count(disinct Month).

I have found that dimension limits is not very reliable under the ajax client, so am still interested in other solutions for how to restrict the number of months without the first month being set to January of the minimum year.

Hi Jonathan,

Can you either attach an excel file or a QV file with a bit more clear explanation of your requirement? I will try my best to resolve.

Kind Regards,

Sajeevan

Hi Sajeevan,

The best way of my explaining is through screenshots of your application.

Please see in the attached document how, when a date selection is made the charts reduce the number of months shown, but instead of starting at the first date selected they go back to the start of the minimum year.

Many thanks,

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

Now I got what you want to achive. You just need to add RollingPeriod={">=$(=Min(RollingPeriod)) <=$(=Max(RollingPeriod))"} in the expression. Find attached the same file after adding that expression to another chart object.

Hope this resolves your query.

Regards,

Sajeevan
