Save the order of the columns in a bookmark

Can the users change the order of the columns in a straight table and save them in a bookmark? I have tried doing it by creating a bookmark with 'Include layout state' option ticked.

However, after the refresh, when I selected the bookmark, the order is not the same as when I created the bookmark.

Is there a way to do this?

Qlik support has confirmed it is a limitation in the current version (12.0). Suggested to use Macros.

Has anyone used to save the column order using macros?
