Scalability

Hi All

I am using

Windows 7 64bit

Intel i5 2450GHz

6GB RAM

500GB HD

QV 64 bit Personal Ed

Ms Excel 32 bit

When I load one MS excel file having 30 columns and one million rows, it takes 9-10 minutes. No program is running except QV.

Is it OK to take so much of time in loading/reloading?

Please advise.

That's a big Excel file... I do not think anything is wrong, but I would save the file as a tab separated text file instead. QlikView should read that faster.
