Section Access Problem

Hello,

I have one excel with columns are ACCESS, NTNAME, SECURITY_COMPANY

So, Already previous developer allocate with some Access.

Here, I want to add my name to get all access. Can i know where do i find my NTNAME to add in that Excel.

Very urgent...

HI, Anil

if you want to access app in access point then you should be authenticated first,

IF it is section access related issue then you should reload the document in order to reflect the changes

I didn't see before that b.qvw

Today, i have call with my client. so that i am preparing to open that file.

That's why i am asking you. Do i need to add user in Doc CAL / What?

After that, do i require to assign the DOC CAL for that qvw / What is the process?

If possible, Can you please share some points to follow the open b.qvw file...

are you able to login to access point ? then you think about adding in section access

1) No, I am not able to access in Access Point.

2) Before, Moving i am not able to access in Local client as well.

Updated : Here, When i am trying to open this b.qvw it showing like Access denied to QlikView Document.

After that i created one mount point for that. So, after that the b.qvw is not showing in Access point. So, that is i am asking you All...

add your user in the doc cal or add yourself as a named user. this will give you authentication to the document and after that thw section access settings should work fine.

assuming that you added your name already

ACCESS     NTNAME          SECURITY_COMPANY

ADMIN     Domian\ANIL

under system tab, select licenses tab

qlik on qlikview server, select assigned cal's tab

click on the litttle manage users icon on the right hand corner and add your active directory user .

click on apply
