Section Access - exclude a value

Hi,

I am trying to build Section Access where a user should be able to view data from a whole division in a company, except from one sub-division.

I tried implementing logic according to this thread:

Section access - exclude just one value!

It works but the problem is that the user can only see the data in the Division table where the logic is applied. All the other tables, like customer data, connected to the division can not be screened.

Is there a way to solve this?

Sorry for no real example to present. I just need to know if it is possible or if I should divide the application.
