Section Access

Hi all,

I am trying to understand the section access functionality of Qlikview.

I have attached two files, both with dummy data for me to play with. The first is simply a file with a few sample data points, the second is the same but with section access, in other words the following code within a hidden script:

Section Access;

LOAD * INLINE [

ACCESS, USERID, PASSWORD

ADMIN, ADMIN,  ADMIN

USER, USER1, U1

];

The problem is when I use this section access code and reopen the file and enter username and password, the data disappears.

BTW - The password for the hidden script is London10

Can anyone advise?

Regards

Revlin

Try adding SECTION Application; command after your section access script.
