Selections behavior

Hello,

does exist any way to modify normal behavior of QlikView selections?

My example: dimension "Date" selected on "01/01/2012", dimension "Line of Products"  selected on "A".

The products related to line of Product "A" are "A.1" and "A.2" and thery are selected, while product "B.1" is showed in grey because there's no relationship with line of product "A".

If I select product "B.1" the selection of "Line of Product" is correctly erased because there's not a link between the product "B.1" and the Line of Product "A".

The problem is that is erased also the date selection, even if the product "B.1" has a relationship with date "01/01/2012"

The behavior I want: if a try to select product "B.1", selections not related to that are erased, in this case Line of Product "A", but the selections which mantain a relationship to the new selection continue to be valid (in this case date '01/01/2012').

QlikView behaves in this way because is not possible to mantain a back univocal relationship among the new selection and the old ones, even if some of the old selections could be related to the new one.

Any way to modify this trend?

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

your problem is that you selected line of products --> 'A'

If you disselect 'A' and then select 'B1' the date should stay selected.
