Show grid but hide x-axis labels

I would like to show a sparkline style line chart that shows a grid but has no data labels on the x-axis. See the attached image. Using Hide Axis will not allow the grid to display.

Any ideas...?

I'm not sure I understand. To make the X axis labels not show, just remove the X axis legend. Are you asking how to make the Y axis labels go away without removing the grid lines? There must be a better way, but you can always change the font color to white.

Yep, sorry. I meant the Y-axis labels. Those pesky things won't go away. I have been making the font color match my background color, but, hoped there was a better solution.
