I have a 2 dimensional bar chart that shows the value for the 1st dimension on the top of the bar. How do you make the values show up within the bar itself for each of the secondary dimension sections of the bar?
Try the Plot Values Inside Segments option on the Presentation tab.
Try the Plot Values Inside Segments option on the Presentation tab.
Thanks - don't know if I ever would have found that.
This worked on the first one I tried, but has not worked on a couple of others I've tried since - is there anything else that would affect this showing or not?
The option Values on Data Points for the expression(s) also needs to be enabled. And there must be enough space to plot the values.
I did not have the option Values on Data Points enabled. I hadn't noticed before, but when you enable the values to be shown within the bar graph, you lose the total value on the top of the bar graph. I'm assuming there is no way to show both - it's an either/or. Thanks for the help.
