Hi,
I've a table box with large number of fields. When i'm loading the qvw file with less fields i'm getting cross symbol(X) on table. Why i'm getting this problem.
Can any one help me.
Hi,
My guess is that your question is the answer: you have too many information to display in that kind of object. Anyway, what version of QlikView are you running? Does that happen on the server or opening on Desktop as well?
Hope that helps.

Hi,
Does loading less records show the table as expected? Are you running the latest version of QlikView (10 SR3 build 9061)?

I'm using using the version as below..
Hi,
Try instead a chart, type Straight table, set no expressions (or a dummy expression like "Sum(1)").
Hope that helps.

Ya, i tried like this previously it's working. But, just i want to know the reason why its happening...
Thanks a lot miguel
Hi,
As I mentioned above my guess is that there are a lot of data to be displayed in that kind of chart. Actually, the same table box with a calculation condition (say, less than 5000 selected values) should display values right.
Hope that makes sense.

If i write less than 5000 in calculation condition of table box. Whetther i can see same data what i required.
Actually what is the use of calculation condition in table box.
Hi,
As in any other object, the reason for that is to render the object only when some condition is filled. Say for example you want to see some data from a list of Customers that have purchased more than 1000 in the last 7 days. You may not need a chart, since you are not going to aggregate rather than displaying addresses, countries, and so.
Hope that makes sense too.
