Simple Count function

Hi Experts,

Can any one please help me on this.

In the emplyee ID field all the records will be started with Characters like A,B,C,E.

I have to find out if any ID starts with Numeric value.

In the below field tow records are started with numbers. How to find those by creating flag in qlik.

Employee ID
A1152469
B7112527
C7662216
E8433063
462335
745112

Thanks in advance.

May be this?

If([Employee ID] = KeepChar([Employee ID],'0123456789'), 'Numeric', 'Character') as Flag

Perhaps like this:

count({<[EmployeeI D]={"=Num#(Left([EmployeeI D],1))>-1"}>}distinct [EmployeeI D])

talk is cheap, supply exceeds demand
