I have hopefully a very simple question - we are currently using Qlikview and have lots of different tabs, some of these tabs have a little blue square after the tab name and others a little green square. Does anyone know the difference? At first I thought it was which tabs are affected by selections but this doesn't seem to be the case.
Thanks!
Hi Louise,
Actually blue means that in that sheet are some values selected in fields that have been blocked, so you cannot clear those selections until you first unlock them. Green means that the selections you have done are affecting some other objects (charts, listboxes) in other sheets.
Just using the Current Selections object will help you see easily the state of your selections in the document at any given moment.
Hope that helps.

It does help, thanks. What if there is both a locked selection and further selections in one tab? We have a combination of both in most tabs.
THanks,
Louise

As far as i can see, the icon will change to a blue one then. As soon as you unlock the locked selection, it will turn green if you still have some other selections that impact that sheet.
