In the database I'm working with, I'm trying to create charts by incident or request, with category on one axis, and subcategory on another. The problem is, for some reason, there is a custom field table, where, for example, incident category =5, incident subcategory = 6, request category = 7, request category = 8.
I can create a chart with incident category on one axis and incident subcategory on another, but when I try to count them by ticket number, I get a chart with one labeled item on each axis, and one unlabeled item on each axis. Each ticket is getting counted twice, once for category, and once for subcategory. If I suppress null value on one, no data shows, because each ticket has two values associated with it, category and subcategory.
Any ideas on how I can get this to work?
I have attached a screenshot of my resulting chart with just 3 tickets selected.
Seems like I'm not the only one stumped? That makes me feel a little better. 😉
