Dear All,
I have a database where the two key selection variables are Wave and Branch.
I need to show the average score by region for the selected wave or for the all waves irrespective of what is selected as branch and the average score for the selected brach in that wave to compare with region average.
I have been trying myself with it for couple of days without a success. The region average is showing for all waves together and not changing if I select a particular wave.
In Trend page, the wave should be excluded from the slection.
Attaching the QV file. Can someone help me?
Thanks,
Sajeevan
I have no idea what you're up to, but I can produce the numbers you asked for in your second post. So is the attached what you want?
Hi,
Can you plz check the attched application ?

Hi Manish,
Thanks for your solution but I need the below.
If you select "Wave 4, 2008" then Central=94, East=93, West=92 - It is the correct result.
Let the wave be selected as "Wave 4, 200" and select Branch as "101". Now I need Central=94, East=93, West=92 and "Branch 101" should appear in the graph as the 2nd Expression with the result as 92, then only I can compare "Branch 101" score along with all other region.
Hope you understood the issue.
Best Regards,
Sajeevan

Hi John,
This is exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much for your quick support. I never knew it was so simple!
I am very new to the set analysis. Do you have any good manual other than the help file available with QlikView application?
This is my first application I am setting up for a client after receiving the training an year ago. I may require your support and some level of handholding in future too. Hope you will assist me.
Once again thanking you and all others who tried to resolve the issue.
Warm Regards,
Sajeevan
Unfortunately, I haven't seen any better documentation than the help file. While it's helpful for some basics, set analysis is a large subject that deserves more than just a few pages of documentation. I learned how to do set analysis largely through practice and reading the forum.
