Sum all data of all months, which are smaller than selected month

Dear all,

I´m sorry to bother you with this question, but I´m newbie.

I have some Project data and I want summarize hours to see the past month. If I select a Year and a month, than I will see the sum of 2012 and the months

1,2,3 and 4

Did anybody have an idea.
