Text box on opening the qvw

Hi,

I want to display a text when customer opens the dashboard. It should remain on the screen for 10 seconds or maybe when they click on it it should disappear

I see i can embed an image in document properties-> opening->sslect image.

But i dont see a textbox option.

Any other ideas on how to approach this?

You can always create an image containing your text

On a more serious note: maybe a text object overlaid over the initial sheet, that's being hidden (using Actions and Show Condition) after you click on it?

Hi,

You can try to use alert wizard-go to toola alerts.Give always true condition like 1=1.

It will close once you click on it.

On the Document Properties | Opening tab, there is an option for a splash screen to be displayed whenever the document is opened. Put your message in an image, and select the image and the options for close ob click and close after 10 seconds

I was wondering is there an option to bold up the text or increase the font size?
