Too many document cals assigned

while i trying to assign document CALs it says too many document CALs assigned. but i checked there is no document CALs was assigned. please check below screen short

and one more doubt. totally 5 CALs but it shows 4 only.

please suggest some idea.

Hi,

Are trying to assign cal dyanamically??

If not then,

first In Document Cal -> Add ->No of cal allocatted to this document-> add number->

then go to assign user and add user.

Hi Arul

restart the services, it might be helpful to you..

also try to clear the unused document cals...

QVSManagerBatch.exe clean -<switch 1> -<switch n>


QVSManagerBatch.exe clean -server=<ipaddress> -caltype=document

          i restarted all the services. and i checked there no document CAL was assigned to any document.

Arul, let me know what is the process you are following for allocating Doc CALS, so that it would be helpful for me to understand where the problem exists...

You may clear the license (If its a sandbox or test server... but be cautious have your license key and control number handy)

Go into QMC > System > Licenses > QlikView Server > QlikView Server License. then click on the button "Clear License".


This will definitely fix the issue, but as a last option.

How many document do you have on server???

check that did you assign cal to other document.

also check in recent time did you assign doc cal to other document and that document was deleted.
