Hi guys,
I have created a single light gauge chart in my pivot table. I want to know.... why is it blinking???? it just keep on blinking.
is it because of animation enabled? but i didnt set anything like that haha.
so, if is blinking, is it normal? i dont need it to be blinked.
Rgds,
Jim
hi
Now() function calculates each and every seconds, so expression execute for every seconds.. And chart refresh the data. So it looks like that..
Instead of now() , try with today() function.
Could you attached your app?
Which version of QV are you using?
Are you using Now() function?
yea.. i am using now() function.
this is my expression
=IF( [System1FinishDate] > Now() Or [System0FinishDate]> Now () , vImagePath&'green_circle.png',
IF(Len(Trim([Software Date] ))=0 ,vImagePath&'warning_circle.jpg',vImagePath&'tick_icon.png' )
)

Can you tell me... inwhat kind of circumstances, only use now() ?

Jim
I assume you are using version prior to 12.
I'm using 12 and now() is not working here anymore.
Is kind of a shame as sometimes you need to have some 'animation' available...
HI
Now() is used when we need to deal with time alone.
Hi,
I have used odd function with second(Now(1)) to blink or highlight based on the value, it is working fine in my Qlikview desktop, but when I published it to Access Point and opened it in IE or chrome it is not blinking or highlighting as it is showing as static image.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
